“ Sea-Through “ was born during an intensive workshop week organized by Other Today, in the amazing Plus X space in Brighton.

The project started with the idea of creating a combination between my Sicilian heritage and Brighton.

I experimented with a new biomaterial, made of Sicilian sea salt, water, and flour and I decided to design a lampshade to highlight the translucent aspect of this new material.

The project shows a flexible suspended lamp, the user can adjust the length through a stone I found at Brighton beach.
